An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.
Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.
The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
